I’m sharing some of my favorite fall looks from 2020 that are so easy to replicate in 2021. Shackets, Oversized Cardis, Dresses, Leggings, and matching sets will continue to be trending this fall…and you can’t go wrong with any of these below looks. Plus, most pieces are from Amazon Fashion….so super affordable as well!
Shacket / Flannel Shirt outfits
Wearing this fleece shacket with mom jeans and a cropped tee for an easy fall look. This shacket is a men’s style; I’m wearing the small
Wearing this oversized flannel as a shacket, paired with faux leather leggings and an oversized graphic tee. BTW…this flannel listing is one of the best on Amazon. I have 2 from this listing, with a 3rd in my cart. My faux leather leggings are under $30 and such a good look for less to the more popular brand (which I love too). Flannel is a small (oversized, go TTS), Tee is a small (oversized, go TTS), and leggings are XS (TTS).
Another way I love to wear shackets and flannels for fall is to tie them around the waist. This is a perfect transition look, and can take a dress/skirt look down to a more casual one. And of course, add a hat for safe measure 🙂 Flannel fits oversized (go TTS), Skirt is a small (I would size up 1), Tee is small (go TTS, or size up for larger fit)
Same idea here with tying a flannel shirt around the waist, but this time I am wearing a fitted dress. Added bonus, the flannel around the waist helps me feel more comfortable when wearing a more fitted style (like this tulip hem dress). Grab a fall sign, and your outfit is complete! Flannel is a XS (go TTS), Dress is a small (go TTS)
Fall Skirt Outfits
Wearing a graphic tee with my favorite leopard skirt for an early fall look. Save this skirt for winter and pair with a chunky sweater! Skirt is a small (TTS), Tee is a small (TTS or size up)
I am huge fan of ruffle skirts and will style them year round. There are so many ways to wear, but here I have this one paired with graphic tee and fuzzy jacket. Lots and lots of pink! Skirt is a small (go TTS), Tee is a med (I sized up 1 for a larger fit), Jacket is a small (go TTS)
Apparently I really like styling my skirts with graphic tees….so here is another look that includes a graphic tee. This time I am styling it with this ribbed midi skirt and flannel. Flannel oversized (go TTS), Skirt is a small (I would size up 1), Tee is small (go TTS, or size up for larger fit)
Fall Dress Outfits
Wear an oversized sweater as a dress. This is especially easy if you are short like me (5 foot even). This leopard sweater is great with leggings too! Dress is a small (if you are taller, size up for length)
Adding a jean jacket to this dress for a cute fall look. I really like wearing dresses, so this helps extend them into cooler temps. Dress is a small (go TTS, little loose in my chest area)
I love a good chunky cardi for fall. I especially love pairing them with fitted dresses! This Aztec cardi is one of my favorites from last year and is thankfully still available. Cardigan is a small (go TTS), Dress is a small (go TTS)
A simple way to wear a dress for fall….just wear the dress as is and add cute accessories. This dress is one of my favorites and a must have! Dress is a XS (go TTS)
One last dress look. Another Maxi dress, this time styled with a denim jacket. Denim jackets are a must for fall transition. They help you extend some of your summer dresses into the cooler temps. Dress is a small (go TTS)
Fall Leggings Outfits
I love me some leggings. A cute way to wear them for fall is with a graphic tee and shacket (or button down) on top. These textured leggings are the “butt lifting” style minus the seam up the middle. Leggings are an XS (go TTS). Tee is a small (I wish I had sized up for a looser fit)
Faux leggings are always a must have fall staple. Dress them up or down. I am going pretty casual here with a chunky sweater and sneaker boots. Wearing XS leggings (go TTS), wearing a small in the sweater (go TTS, oversized fit)
I shared this look above in the shacket section, but in case you missed it….here it is again. The perfect fall combo; shacket, oversized tee and faux leather leggings. Flannel is a small (go TTS), Tee is a small (oversized, go TTS), and leggings are XS (TTS).
Oversized Cardigan Outfits
I love a good cardigan! They are perfect for the office or casual wear. I am dressing this plaid cardi down by pairing it with a graphic tee and mom jeans. This cardi is so good I also own it in green/black (Xmas vibes). Cardigan is a small (TTS)
Have you see enough graphic tees at this point? Me too. This time I am wearing a duster style, light weight cardigan. This cardigan is cute for the office or a casual look (like this one shown). Cardigan is a small (TTS), Tee is a small (TTS)
Switching things up here and pairing my cardigan with faux leather joggers and the best bodysuit ever. I know we are talking cardigans right now, but seriously this bodysuit is so good. I own it in like 6 colors. I also own the Spanx joggers, but these shown here are a little more affordable pair. They are also a little more light weight with fun zippers. And the cardi….so so cute too. Cardigan is a small (go TTS, an oversized fit). Joggers are a size 25 (go TTS), bodysuit is a XS (go TTS).
What is not to love about matching sets??? Not much styling needed here…you just throw them on with cute shoes and jewelry, and you are good to go. This set is a sweater material, so perfect for fall transition. You can also wear them as separates. The top would be really cute with black pants for the office setting. Matching set is a small (TTS)
Alrighty….that’s all I have for now. What are your favorite go to looks for fall? I live in GA, so honesty I won’t be breaking out a lot of these looks until November, and I’m not mad about it. Happy almost Fall!
