My recap and most of my outfits from our San Diego trip. Where we stayed has a resort feel, so we spent a lot of time there instead of exploring San Diego (we have been there previously). I highly recommend where we stayed….but I have been told it is Haunted 🙂

Where We Stayed: Hotel del Coronado

Things We Did: San Diego Zoo, Day in La Jolla (a must visit for the Sea Lions), Relaxed at Pool, Hung Out on the Beach, Nighttime Beach Smore’s

Places We Ate:

Dinner / Lunch

  • Bencotto Italian Kitchen – Italian Restaurant in Little Italy. We very good, and very fast. I enjoyed the Cheeswheel Pasta (though they did not make it tableside like I was hoping)
  • Little Frenchie – French Bistro and bar in Coronado that was walking distance rom the hotel. I shared the cheese plate with Jonathan and enjoyed the roasted honeynut squash for dinner.
  • Serea (finer dining at Hotel) – We ate lite and shared the Mezze Platter and Saganaki
  • Sun Deck – Hotel Outside Restaurant and we also ordered food from there to the pool. Sienna has lots of grilled cheeses
  • Beach & Taco Shack – Hotel Taco Shack on the Beach. Grabbed lunch here the last day
  • Eno Market & Pizza – Hotel Pizza restaurant and Market. Grabbed breakfast at the Market morning, and enjoyed pizzas here our last night there. Jonathan and I shared the Quattro Formaggi Pizza.

Desserts

  • Stella Jean’s – We stopped here after the zoo for ice cream. So good! I had the Sweet potato rocky road and Ube + Pandesal Toffee
  • Sundaes – Hotel Dessert Shop. We went for the hand-crafted paleta popsicles. I had the Mango Chamoy and Reeses Cup
